Completing the Banker Development Program (formerly known as the Management Associate Program) at Colony Bank will allow you to gain hands-on experience in multiple departments throughout the bank while you build your technical and interpersonal skills, grow your network, take on responsibilities while contributing to company-wide projects, and also gain industry knowledge and receive professional development and mentoring from our leadership team.

Overview of Program:

Phase 1:

Each group of Associates (2) at Colony Bank will participate in rotations throughout the bank over the span of 6-9 months beginning in August. Every Associate will gain exposure and hands on experience in the following areas:

  • Universal Banking (Transaction/Retail Management)
  • Deposit Operations, Loan Operations, Bank Support
  • Credit
  • Personal Lending
  • Mortgage
  • Treasury Solutions
  • Commercial Lending / Community Banking
  • IT
  • Bank Security
  • Audit & Information Security
  • Marketing
  • Human Resources
  • CEO or C-Suite

Phase 2:

Upon completion of the rotational program, Associates will be placed in afull time position as a Credit Analystfor 6-9 monthsuntil transitioned to their permanent market focusing on business development.

Requirements:

  • Recent graduate with Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Management, Accounting, or similar field
  • Leadership demonstrated through extracurricular activities
