JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced .NET Backend API Developer to design, build, and support enterprise-grade APIs and integration solutions for the Supernova platform. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in .NET development, REST API design, integration architecture, and backend application development. This role is heavily focused on new development initiatives, offering the opportunity to build scalable, secure, and high-performing API-driven solutions in a dynamic and evolving environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design, develop, test, and deploy RESTful APIs and backend services using .NET technologies.
• Build and enhance integration solutions supporting the Supernova platform and related enterprise systems.
• Architect and develop scalable, secure, and maintainable API services.
• Assess and recommend infrastructure requirements for API gateway environments and integration platforms.
• Collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, and development teams to define technical solutions.
• Develop greenfield applications and APIs that support evolving business needs and enterprise initiatives.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and integration issues.
• Optimize API performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Participate in code reviews and promote software engineering best practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, API specifications, and implementation guidelines.
• Support deployment activities and ensure seamless integration across environments.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within development, integration, and delivery processes.
• Provide support and enhancements for existing applications and APIs when required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Extensive experience in .NET application development.
• Strong experience designing, developing, and supporting RESTful APIs.
• Proven expertise in backend application development and service-oriented architectures.
• Strong understanding of integration architecture and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience designing and supporting API gateway environments.
• Knowledge of API security, authentication, authorization, and performance optimization best practices.
• Experience developing scalable, high-availability enterprise applications.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and best practices.
• Ability to analyze complex technical problems and deliver effective solutions.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Experience within Banking, Lending, or Financial Services environments.
