Position Description: Data Integration Specialist - Contingent Pipeline Opportunity - We're building a talent pipeline for upcoming U.S. Government defense IT and analytics support roles. Opportunities are contingent upon task order awards and funding under existing contracts.


Location: Doral, FL


Responsibilities:

  • Design and manage data ingestion and transformation pipelines across cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Develop and maintain ETL workflows to integrate data from multiple sources.
  • Ensure data interoperability, quality, consistency, and schema alignment.
  • Build and support APIs for reliable data exchange between systems.
  • Work with data engineers, analysts, and mission stakeholders to enable data-driven operations.
  • Optimize data flows for performance, scalability, and secure access.
  • Duties and responsibilities may change based on program needs. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Management, or a related field OR five (5) years of equivalent data integration experience.
  • Experience developing and managing ETL workflows.
  • Experience integrating data from multiple sources and formats.
  • Experience ensuring data quality and consistency.
  • Hands-on experience with Apache NiFi, Databricks, and SQL-based data warehouses.
  • Proficiency with data integration tools, API development, and schema management.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Experience supporting DoD, Combatant Command, or Intelligence Community data environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms in AWS and/or Azure.
  • Experience with data governance, metadata, and lineage tracking.
  • Knowledge of real-time or streaming data integration.
  • Experience working in Agile or DevSecOps delivery environments.

Certifications:

  • Required: None
  • Preferred: Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate

Clearance Requirement:

  • Must have an active TS/SCI Security Clearance.
  • Candidate must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to pass a standard background check and drug screening.
