Job description

Validation Associate
Hourly Rate: $19-21/hour
This position is responsible for providing support and initial setup for Finite Element Analysis (FEA), running analysis, and recording and communicating results. The Associate may be required to support multiple projects and work with cross-functional teams to achieve total customer satisfaction, and to meet quality standards and procedures.
Essential job functions:
  • Mesh and set up basic FEA model based on guidelines and requests
  • Run existing analysis
  • Record and communicate results visa reports (using Excel database or PowerPoint files)
  • Responsible for eliminating waste and recommending solutions to problem solving/cost reduction ideas
  • Make recommendations to increase both personal and team efficiency and productivity
  • Work collaboratively with project teams and the business to evaluate solutions
  • Balance multiple projects and timelines
Skills required:
  • Understanding of computer aided design (CAD)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong math skills
Skills desired:
  • Understanding of FEA
  • Experience with Hypermesh and Abaqus
  • Knowledge or experience in mechanics
Experience:
  • Prefer 0-3 years
Education:
  • High School degree or GED
