Position Summary...What you'll do...
As an Automation Operations Manager, you will lead the execution of highly automated production and fulfillment operations within one of Walmart's next-generation supply chain facilities. This role is responsible for maximizing system performance, delivering operational excellence, and ensuring inventory availability through the effective management of automated processes, technology, and people. You will partner closely with Site Leadership, Maintenance, Engineering, and Home Office teams to optimize production performance, drive continuous improvement, and support Walmart's commitment to delivering for customers and members. What You'll Do
  • Lead daily automation operations across multiple shifts to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable production outcomes.
  • Develop and execute production plans that align with inventory requirements, capacity utilization goals, and customer service expectations.
  • Monitor and improve key operational metrics, including throughput, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), system reliability, inventory accuracy, and cost performance.
  • Analyze operational performance data to identify trends, eliminate waste, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with Maintenance and Engineering teams to coordinate planned downtime, maximize equipment uptime, and improve system performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to resolve inventory, production, and fulfillment challenges.
  • Utilize automation and warehouse management systems to monitor inventory flow, production schedules, and operational execution.
  • Lead the execution of strategic projects and business initiatives that improve productivity, quality, and service levels.
  • Remove operational barriers and implement solutions that support business goals and customer commitments.
People Leadership
  • Build, develop, and lead high-performing teams in a technology-driven environment.
  • Coach and mentor associates and leaders to strengthen technical capabilities and leadership effectiveness.

The annual salary range for this position is $104,000.00 - $156,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
