Job description

Work Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

Key Responsibilities

The Quality Assurance Auditor is responsible for supporting and maintaining compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) through auditing, document control, corrective action management, quality reporting, and continuous improvement activities. This position conducts internal audits, supports customer and certification audits, maintains quality records and documentation, and monitors quality system effectiveness. The role partners with Production, Engineering, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to ensure compliance with quality standards, customer requirements, and company procedures.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Conduct internal process, product, and system audits to verify compliance with company procedures, customer requirements, and applicable quality standards.
  • Support customer, certification, surveillance, corporate, and regulatory audits, including preparation, execution, reporting, and follow-up activities.
  • Maintain Quality Management System (QMS) documentation, audit records, controlled documents, and quality records in accordance with established requirements.
  • Track corrective and preventive actions resulting from audits, customer complaints, nonconformances, RMAs, VOCs, and scrap events, ensuring timely closure and effectiveness verification.
  • Conduct routine floor audits, process compliance reviews, and verification activities to ensure adherence to approved procedures and quality standards.
  • Manage and maintain quality records related to customer complaints, RMAs, Voice of Customer (VOC), scrap, nonconforming material, and corrective actions.
  • Compile, analyze, and report quality metrics, KPI data, audit findings, trends, and other quality performance indicators.
  • Support investigations and root cause analysis activities through data collection, documentation review, and record retrieval.
  • Assist with Management Review preparation, compliance reporting, and quality system assessments.
  • Maintain document control processes, including document revision, approval, distribution, and archival activities.
  • Support quality training, compliance awareness, and continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and drive quality system effectiveness.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Quality, Manufacturing, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Two or more years of experience in quality assurance, auditing, manufacturing, compliance, or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), auditing principles, document control, and corrective action processes.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Internal Auditor, Lead Auditor, AS9100, or ISO 9001 auditing experience preferred.
