Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and talented Inside Sales Manager to join our growing team at a fast-paced technology company. The Inside Sales Manager is essential in enabling Broadata's sales team to drive towards exponential growth and efficiency. This role supports the VP of Sales and Director of Customer Operations, supports key accounts, and works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure customer ship dates are met, manages quoting, leads the weekly demand meeting, and oversees backorder resolution. Successful candidates are highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently while driving alignment across departments.

This is a hands-on position.  This is NOT a remote or hybrid position.
Key Responsibilities
  • Supports the VP of Sales and Director of Customer Operations with reporting, planning, and execution of sales and order fulfillment priorities.
  • Works with various inter-company departments (Production, Shipping, Engineering, etc.) to ensure customer ship dates and expectations are met.
  • Supports key accounts and develops customer relationships that enhance growth and communication.
  • Leads and/or participates in the weekly demand meeting, tracking open orders and backorder status.
  • Manages quoting, order entry and confirmation, pricing and revision verification, and delivery timelines, ensuring all details align with client requirements.
  • Coordinate with production, logistics, quality, and sales teams to support customer requirements and project timelines.
  • Monitor order status and customer requests and communicate updates to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Exercise independent judgment in prioritizing workload, coordinating customer requirements, resolving routine customer concerns, and supporting operational objectives.
  • Provides appropriate product information to meet the needs of individual customers, support upselling, and achieve sales targets. 
  • Detail-oriented and proactive, with an ability to anticipate issues and take initiative to solve or escalate to resolve.
  • Assists the sales team with administrative tasks, proposal preparation, and client communications to drive business growth.
  • Assists in organizing sales meetings, presentations, and client events.
  • Prepares sales reports, tracking performance metrics and providing insights to support decision making.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Education & Experience
  • A bachelor’s or associate degree is highly desired but not required with sufficient prior technical sales experience.
  • 5 - 7 years of proven excellence in sales development, inside sales, and sales.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
  • Proven “take charge performer” who has both initiative and a strong bias for action.
  • CRM experience is desired.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP, PivotTables).

Physical Job Requirements
The employee in the position will be required to occasionally move throughout the facilities, including climbing stairs, when necessary.  Occasional bending and reaching in an office environment, including opening and closing file cabinets drawers with light grasping. Type on a standard keyboard (laptop or desktop). Use standard computer display screens.  Use standard push-button phones and must speak clearly and be understood by others.  Sit or stand in a standard upright position for a minimum of one hour, but up to 12 hours a day. Be able to lift and carry weight unassisted not exceeding 50 lbs.
