What Associate Attorneys at the Quinn Law Group Do?


Court Appearances:


  • Attend court hearings, motion arguments, case management conferences, settlement conferences, pretrial conferences, and other legal proceedings.
  • Serve as lead counsel in arbitrations, mediations, and other ADR proceedings.
  • Serve as lead trial counsel on arbitration-level cases, and second chair to Firm leadership on catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases at trial.


Legal Strategy:


  • Develop litigation strategies and tactics to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
  • Evaluate settlement offers and advise clients on whether to accept or reject them.


Legal Research and Preparation of Legal Documents:


  • Analyze case facts and legal issues to provide sound legal advice and counsel to clients.
  • Draft, prepare, and e-file litigation documents, including complaints, answers, responses, motions, briefs, and pre-trial documents
  • Prepare trial notebooks, witness lists, exhibit lists, and trial materials


Discovery and Depositions:


  • Manage all aspects of discovery, including propounding and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission
  • Conduct depositions in arbitration-level cases, and provide support to Firm partners and leadership with depositions in catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases.
  • Prepare comprehensive deposition summaries and organize exhibits for depositions


Client Representation:


  • Represent clients in negotiations with insurance companies and opposing parties.
  • Prepare and represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and mediations.
  • Maintain strong client relationships by providing regular updates and addressing client concerns.


Collaboration:


  • Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to effectively manage cases.
  • Assist in mentoring and supervising junior staff members, including legal interns.


Client Development:


  • Participate in firm marketing and business development efforts, including networking and community engagement.


Case Management:


  • Handle a caseload of car crash and premises liability cases.
  • Conduct initial client consultations to assess the viability of potential cases.
  • Organize and analyze complex medical records, accident reports, and expert reports for use in litigation
  • Coordinate and schedule depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings
  • Coordinate with expert witnesses and manage expert discovery
  • Extensive use of Smart Advocate, Case Status, Microsoft Office, and various other software platforms.


Who We Will Consider for This Position?


  • Licensed to practice law in both PA and NJ (or eligibility for waiver into both)

What We Offer:


  • Compensation package of salary, quarterly bonuses, and commissions ranging from $115,000 to $160,000 annually based upon experience and production. Top producers will earn well beyond that range through an uncapped commission structure that rewards those who are hungry and deliver great results.
  • Firm pays 100% of employee health, dental, and vision benefits.
  • Three (3) weeks PTO plus paid holidays and volunteer days.
