We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our Tallahassee team. This attorney will work across a diverse caseload, including premises liability, construction litigation, and general liability matters such as HOA claims and employment disputes. While prior insurance defense experience is not required, candidates must have with 2-3 years of litigation experience and strong writing skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft discovery, motions, and other legal documents; conduct document review and case triage.
  • Participate in depositions and motion practice early in your tenure.
  • Engage in trial preparation, with opportunities to attend trials.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on select files across multiple practice areas.
  • Manage deadlines and follow established processes and training protocols.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of litigation experience (complex litigation preferred).
  • Exceptional writing skills.
  • Ability to learn niche areas of law and adapt to varied practice areas.
  • Strong sense of personal accountability and confidence to handle depositions and hearings.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and commitment to a collaborative office culture.
  • Self-starter with effective time management skills.
