Job Description:

The CSD Business Applications team is seeking an IT professional with practical experience in developing, testing, and maintaining business applications. This role requires a good understanding of programming languages, development frameworks, and software engineering principles. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, designing, and delivering innovative solutions in alignment with L3Harris business objectives, ensuring the stability and performance of production systems, and actively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.


Essential Functions:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and managed service providers to design, configure, test, and enhance operational systems, ensuring they are efficient, accurate, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Assist configuration and deployment of new systems or upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Facilitate collection and documentation of business and technical requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Validate deliverables against requirements and support UAT feedback loops.
  • Build strong internal and external customer relationships by aligning system solutions to our changing business requirements.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.


Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Ability to translate business need into IT action.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills in cross-functional environments.
  • Aptitude for performing well under tight deadlines and high-pressure situations.
  • Knowledge of SAP ECC and familiarity with integration points with other SAP modules.
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to present complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Skills necessary to develop and optimize sophisticated MS SQL queries.
  • Proficiency in ASP .NET, C#, VBA, and VBS.
  • Exposure to project management methodologies, including waterfall and Agile.
  • Exposure to OpenText Content Services Platform.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $79,000-$146,500. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont is $69,000-$128,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
