Job Summary:

This position will support the Information Technology department relating to production systems administration. Provide ancillary support for BI Dashboards, Reporting, and Database Administration. This position will support many facilities within the region and report to the regional lead within this function. Travel will be required between 2 of our Ohio plants.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Administrate and support IT Production Systems to include Line Side Labeling, Traceability, IoT, and other systems as assigned.
  • Support for report and dashboard creation to include an understanding of the underlying data, data structure, and business terminology. Using a variety of BI tools to include SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services), Tableau, Power BI and others as applicable.
  • Provide support to monitor, troubleshoot and tune existing databases.
  • Provide support to troubleshoot existing programs to resolve issues.
  • Provide technical support for in-house developed systems.
  • Perform testing of programming development.
  • Assist in creating, maintaining, and testing the Disaster Recovery Plan.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to solve complex problems through analysis to propose and implement appropriate countermeasures based on timing, quality, and cost.
  • Effective communication skills (written and oral) and problem-solving.
  • Demonstrated self-starter to complete tasks promptly and with minimal direction. Self-directed and motivated when given objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of business systems in a manufacturing environment.

  • Working knowledge of SQL Databases & basic network configuration
  • Working Knowledge of IT Hardware and Software

Education: Associate's degree, applicable certificates, or equivalent IT experience.

Experience: Experience with C#, VB.net, JavaScript, JSON, and XML a plus

Job level is determined by various factors such as organization size, responsibility, career stage, and capabilities.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Will not supervise associates.

Travel: Travel will be required between 2 of our Ohio plants (Sunbury and Blanchester)
