About this Position
GENERAL SUMMARY:
This position will facilitate learning for the Engineering Technologies program for evening courses located in Tulsa, OK. Courses are based on AC/DC circuits, Digital Systems, introduction to PLCs, and Electronic Control Devices.
Required Qualifications
Education:
  • Associate's degree in Engineering Technologies or a related field from an accredited university or college, or certification from an industry recognized technical training program. Bachelor degree preferred.
  • Other combinations of education and industry experience may be substituted for degree/certification requirements.

Experience:
  • Evidences a history of demonstrating ethical and professional behavior.
  • 3+ years of evidenced Engineering Technologies experience.
  • Hands-on PLC troubleshooting and programming experience.
  • Teaching experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in collaborating with various constituencies.

Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:
Licensure/Certification:
  • Valid Oklahoma driver's license.
  • Electrical Journeyman license.
  • Preference given to an individual that is authorized to teach OSHA-30 general industry.

Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:
Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to plan, organize and fulfill complex initiatives.
  • Computer skills to include electronic communications, word processing, and the ability to use specific software associated with the position are necessary.
