Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented CADD Drafter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in computer-aided drafting and design, and will work closely with other BIM professionals to produce accurate and high-quality drawings. This role requires proficiency in CADD software, knowledge of BIM standards, and a strong understanding of construction documentation.

Responsibilities: Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CADD software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications. Collaborate with BIM coordinators to develop design and construction documents. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to produce high-quality drafting work. Assist in maintaining and updating project documentation, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards. Perform clash detection and coordination within the BIM environment to identify potential design conflicts. Support the development of as-built drawings and construction documentation. Stay updated with industry trends, CADD software advancements, and BIM best practices. Ensure compliance with project deadlines and quality standards.

Requirements: Associate degree or certification in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other CADD/BIM software. Minimum of 1 year of experience in CADD drafting. Knowledge of BIM methodologies and construction documentation processes. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Navisworks, Civil 3D, or other BIM-related tools. Familiarity with industry codes, standards, and best practices. Prior experience working in a BIM-focused environment.
