The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Staff DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and optimize scalable DevOps solutions that support the build, release, and deployment of modern cloud-based applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise with DevOps tools, CI/CD processes, and Azure cloud services, along with a deep understanding of source control and release automation.
What You'll Work On
  • Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Drive best practices for DevOps processes, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and infrastructure as code.
  • Manage and optimize source code repositories and branching strategies using tools like GitHub and Azure Repos.
  • Build and maintain release automation workflows using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
  • Provision, configure, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline delivery pipelines and improve deployment frequency.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to ensure reliability and efficiency.
  • Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and implement DevSecOps practices across pipelines.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or related roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Source code management systems (GitHub, Azure Repos)
  • CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
  • Proven expertise in build and release automation processes.
  • Solid experience in Azure cloud platform, including:
  • Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
  • Azure Database for PostgreSQL
  • Azure Service Bus
  • Azure Cache for Redis
  • Azure AD B2C
  • Azure API Management (APIM)
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
  • Cloud Infrastructure & Identity Management
    Design, configure, and maintain Azure infrastructure including CDN rules, Key Vault secrets/certificates, managed identities, and B2C tenant integrations for mobile applications across multiple environments (Dev, QA, Prod).
  • CI/CD Pipeline Development & Automation
    Build and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for mobile app builds (iOS/Android), including secure file management, environment-specific configurations, and automated deployments to TestFlight and Google Play Console.
  • Mobile Backend & API Platform Configuration
    Configure backend services including APIM policies, JWT validation, Service Bus authentication, SSL certificate pinning, and mobile Graph API integrations to support Flutter mobile applications.
  • Firebase & Push Notification Infrastructure
    Set up and manage Firebase projects, configure APNs authentication keys, manage Firebase Admin SDK credentials in Key Vault, and ensure reliable push notification delivery for both iOS and Android platforms.
  • Security, Compliance & Release Management
    Implement security controls including certificate management, keystore generation, provisioning profile management, and coordinate cross-functional releases ensuring all pre-deployment checklists and environment registrations are validated.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience implementing infrastructure automation using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and security integration in CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience working in microservices and cloud-native architectures.
  • Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, etc.).
  • Experience in high-availability, distributed systems environments.
  • Relevant Azure certifications preferred, such as:
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
