Job description

MRI Technologist - West Valley Hospital

Location: West Valley, Oregon

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day 3x12-Hour Shift (08:00 - 20:30), with specific hours on Friday from 9:00-9:30 and Saturday/Sunday from 6:00-6:30.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist to join our team at West Valley Hospital. The candidate will be responsible for operating state-of-the-art MRI equipment and performing imaging procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment and conduct imaging while ensuring patient comfort.
  • Maintain a high level of patient care and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Document patient information and imaging results accurately.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of MRI equipment and workspace.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in MRI, or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (AMRIT).
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred.
  • 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, RDMS, or CNMT preferred.
  • Must be licensed with the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging as a licensed practitioner of MRI (temporary license acceptable).
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association required within 90 days of hire.
