Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced remote-centered environment with variety in your work? The California Department of Insurance (CDI) is seeking a dynamic Associate Accounting Analyst to join the Revenue Section of the Accounting Services Bureau.

This position is responsible for the coordination, development, analysis and maintenance of financial records related to the Accounts Receivable process in the Financial and Business Management Division - Accounting Services Bureau - Revenue Section - Accounts Receivable Unit (ARU). This position is responsible for independently analyzing and performing a wide variety of complex professional accounting duties. The incumbent is responsible for properly analyzing complete accounting transactions, preparing clear, complete, and concise reports and communicating effectively with departmental staff, control agencies, and external customers. Responsibilities include reviewing and maintaining several accounting systems and/or applications, Oracle Financials, Expense Tracking, and FI$Cal to enhance the efficiency of the accounting process.
Effective July 1, 2025, the California Department of Human Resources (CalHR) implemented the Personal Leave Program (PLP) 2025 and related Pay Differential 386. PLP 2025 requires employees to receive a reduction in pay in exchange for monthly hours of PLP 2025 leave credits. Working Conditions
