Position – Assisted Living Administrator
Location: VMP Healthcare and Community Living – West Allis, WI (on-site position)
Status: Full-Time

VMP is an independent nonprofit that has proudly served the community for more than 100 years. We are currently seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking Assisted Living Administrator to lead Palmer House, our assisted living community, into its next chapter of growth. The ideal candidate is a strong, compassionate leader who is committed to delivering exceptional resident care, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a positive amp; collaborative environment for residents, families, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the assisted living community
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, licensing requirements, and company policies
  • Develop staffing schedules and oversee hiring, orientation, and performance management
  • Maintain high standards for quality assurance, infection prevention, and resident satisfaction
  • Manage budgets, occupancy goals, and operational performance
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare providers, and community partners

Qualifications:
  • Previous leadership experience in assisted living, long-term care, or healthcare management
  • Knowledge of assisted living regulations and resident rights
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience with staff supervision, scheduling, and employee development
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of resident care
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business, Nursing, or a related field preferred
  • Current Assisted Living Administrator license/certification (or ability to obtain) as required by state regulations
