Job Description
An administrative assistant needed a for unique role combining traditional clerical support with digital community
management and front-line client service in the solar industry The ideal candidate is a proactive multitasker who
can maintain a structured office environment, has a social media background, experience in managing office
operations, schedules, and digital content.
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized, versatile, and energetic Administrative Assistant to join our growing team, with
a strong social media sense to help run our daily office tasks and grow our online presence. You will split your
time between traditional office support and creating fun, engaging content for our social platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Office Support: Answer phones, greet visitors, manage calendars, order supplies and sort mail.
Customer Service: Work with customers on scheduling installations, service calls and paperwork.
Address routine client questions and handle basic service inquiries.
Follow-Up Care: Conduct outbound follow-ups via phone or email to ensure client satisfaction and
secure feedback.
File Data Management: Keep digital records clean, update databases, and handle basic reports and
data entry.
Document Prep: Prepare building and electrical permits, product warranty applications, lease and
installation agreements, among others.
Social Media Community Management
Social Media Content: Plan, write, and schedule posts for platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook,
YouTube, Nextdoor and TikTok.
Content Scheduling: Maintain the monthly social media content calendar across platforms like
Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, X, Nextdoor and LinkedIn.
Audience Engagement: Monitor accounts daily, respond to direct messages (DMs) promptly, and
interact with comments to build online community.
Performance Tracking: Pull standard analytics reports to track engagement trends and follower growth.
Team Coordination: Help prepare meetings, take notes, and support special marketing or office
projects.
Qualifications Skills
Experience: 1–3 years of proven experience in an office administrative role, customer service
environment, or social media support role.
Office Software: High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Social Marketing Platforms: Experience with social media management dashboards (e.g., Hootsuite,
Buffer) and email marketing systems.
Digital Skills: Comfortable using Canva, CapCut and Adobe Premiere Pro, basic photo tools, and major
social media networks.
Communication: Great writing skills for clear emails and catchy social media captions.
Organization: Strong time-management capabilities, ability to multi-task, stay on schedule, and pay close
attention to detail. Strong to independently prioritize competing tasks throughout the workday.
Problem-Solving: A patient, solutions-oriented approach when dealing with challenging customer
situations or rapid-response digital messages.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in
Communications, Business, or Marketing is preferred.
