Marketing Assistant


Summary

At Toyota of Cedar Park and City Limits Subaru, we believe in driving connections, community, and creating experiences our customers love! We are looking for a detail-oriented, driven, and ready-to-learn marketing professional looking to grow and be developed. The Marketing Assistant will use their analytical skills and strong attention to detail to assist the Marketing & Community Relations Director while learning automotive marketing, This position reports directly to the Marketing & Community Relations Director and supports dealership leadership, vendors, and the group’s centralized marketing team to ensure initiatives are executed efficiently, consistently, and in alignment with business objectives. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing strategic awareness with exceptional operational execution.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist Marketing Director to create and oversee social media content calendar monthly.
  • Assists with various duties as needed including monitoring digital platforms, sponsorships, chamber activities, event planning and execution, and vendor communication.
  • Understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, X/Twitter, Google Business Profile) and current trends and willingness to assist when needed.
  • Assists with department projects and responsibilities, including calendar management and community engagement strategies, etc.
  • Attend various networking and company events as needed to promote Toyota of Cedar Park and City Limits Subaru.
  • Update shared monthly event trackers and sponsorship documents for dealerships.
  • Work with Graphic Designer to create ad assets, including email and printed materials, in accordance with marketing strategy and branding.
  • Maintain and organize inventory.
  • May assist in sending updated monthly graphics to partnering chambers of commerce.
  • Event management and execution coordinating with store leadership and sales advisor attendees.
  • Attend team meetings and budget meetings.
  • Learn, understand, and report on marketing campaign/website metrics at least once a week.
Requirements:

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field from an accredited university and/or equivalent experience.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
  • Photography/videography skills and proficiency in editing software (Canva, CapCut, etc.).
  • Ability to write engaging, brand-appropriate copy for multiple audiences.
  • Knowledge of CRM platforms, website content management systems, Microsoft Office, Google Suite / Google Business Profile / Google Analytics, Canva, Meta Business Suite, social media platforms, WordPress, and marketing platforms.\
  • Must maintain a clean and valid driver’s license.

Work Environment

This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. Adept with digital storage and organization.

Physical Demands

This is largely a sedentary role; however, pre-event planning requires the distribution of vendor set-up items (tents, tables, large boxes of supplies.) Standing and walking are required. This position requires the ability to lift boxes, tables, tents, and files, reach and open filing cabinets, bend, stand, and climb stairs as necessary.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time, onsite position, stationed out of Toyota of Cedar Park. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm. Evening, holiday, after-hours, and weekend work may be required as events and job duties demand.

Travel

This position requires travel to other dealerships and event venues approximately 40% of the time.
