Aurum Wireless is a growing wireless and telecommunications sales company working with some of the largest brands in the industry, including AT&T, Verizon, Walmart, and other national retail partners.
We operate and manage wireless retail locations inside select Walmart stores. Our teams help customers upgrade their phones, switch carriers, add new lines, understand current promotions, and find wireless service that fits their needs.
We are building a different kind of wireless sales organization—one focused on strong store-level leadership, professional customer experiences, performance, and creating opportunities for talented people to grow with the company.
We are hiring a Wireless Store Lead to take ownership of one of our Walmart retail locations.
The Role

The Store Lead is responsible for the overall performance and day-to-day operation of their assigned wireless location.
This is a hands-on sales leadership position. You will sell alongside your team, coach employees, maintain the location, work with Walmart store leadership, and ensure your location consistently hits its sales and operational goals.
You aren't simply responsible for your own numbers—you are responsible for building a location that performs.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Lead the Location
  • Take ownership of the daily performance of your assigned Walmart wireless location
  • Create a professional, organized, and customer-friendly retail environment
  • Ensure the location is open, staffed, and prepared for business
  • Maintain strong communication with Aurum leadership
  • Build a positive working relationship with Walmart store management and employees
Drive Sales
  • Personally engage customers and sell wireless products and services
  • Lead your team toward daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals
  • Demonstrate effective customer approaches, pitches, and closing techniques
  • Identify opportunities for upgrades, new lines, carrier switches, accessories, and other eligible services
  • Monitor individual and store performance throughout the month
Develop Your Team
  • Help train and onboard new Wireless Mobile Experts
  • Coach employees on sales skills, product knowledge, professionalism, and customer experience
  • Set clear expectations and hold team members accountable
  • Recognize strong performers and help struggling employees improve
  • Help create a competitive but positive sales culture
Manage Store Operations
  • Assist with employee scheduling and coverage
  • Ensure company and carrier procedures are followed
  • Maintain merchandising, equipment, devices, and promotional materials
  • Ensure transactions and customer information are handled correctly
  • Communicate operational issues quickly to company leadership
  • Participate in company meetings, training, and carrier updates

Who We're Looking For
You may be a strong fit if you:
  • Have previous retail, wireless, sales, or leadership experience
  • Are comfortable approaching and talking to customers throughout the day
  • Enjoy coaching and motivating other people
  • Are competitive and motivated by performance-based compensation
  • Can hold yourself and others accountable
  • Are organized and dependable
  • Can communicate professionally with customers, employees, Walmart management, and company leadership
  • Are comfortable learning wireless plans, devices, promotions, and carrier systems
  • Want more responsibility than a traditional retail sales position
Wireless experience is preferred, but strong sales or retail leadership experience can be equally valuable.

What Makes Aurum Different
Aurum Wireless is growing, which means we're looking for people who want to build something—not simply clock into another retail job.
Store Leads have the opportunity to directly influence how their location performs, how their team develops, and how the company grows within National Retail.
Strong performance can create opportunities to move into larger leadership roles as Aurum adds additional locations and markets.
We work with major national brands while maintaining the speed and opportunity of a growing company.
What Success Looks Like
A successful Store Lead:
  • Builds a team customers enjoy working with
  • Consistently reaches or exceeds location sales targets
  • Knows their numbers and understands where their store stands
  • Develops employees instead of simply managing them
  • Maintains a strong relationship with Walmart leadership
  • Leads from the front and sells alongside the team
  • Takes responsibility when something isn't working
  • Treats their location like a business they are responsible for growing

Schedule
This is a retail leadership position and requires availability based on the needs of the location. Store Leads should expect to work during important retail traffic periods, which may include evenings and weekends.
