Job description

Job Title: Quality Inspector  We are currently searching for an experienced and highly analytical Quality Inspector to join our department. As the Quality Inspector, you will uphold the safety regulations of our company and supervise the production/ Fabrication process to guarantee that all our products meet quality expectations. The chosen candidate will perform regular product evaluations; record inspection results, and recommend improvements to the production/Fabrication process. To excel in this role, applicants should demonstrate great attention to detail with good technical and organizational skills.Essential job functions:  Perform regular quality assessments on incoming materials from vendors when required.Approves finished products by verifying it conforms to the specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, returning products for re-work and confirming re-work. Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations.Read blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand the requirements of products and services.Measure product dimensions, examine functionality, and compare the final product to the specifications. Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality control.Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records.Resolve quality-related issues promptly. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following company standards and procedures, and complying with legal requirements. Recording inspection data on the appropriate ACSI Inspection forms/documents including documentation of the Non-conforming process, product, and services (should it be needed).Secondary job functions: Replace or assist other workers as deemed necessary.Perform other tasks as assigned by a supervisor or manager.Knowledge, skills, and abilities: One to two year' quality inspection experience (Preferred but not required) High School Diploma/GED or HigherEnglish Communication Skills- Written, Verbal, Interpersonal, and PhoneAbility to think analytically, with a focus on quality and detail A flexible and strong team player that can work in a fast-paced environment Must be computer literate (Word, Excel) Read & Understand: tape measure, calipers, Engineering Drawings, weld symbols, and general shop testing equipment Visual weld inspection a plus but not required.
