The Java Developer I will assist in developing Java-based applications and data integration solutions while gaining hands-on experience in a high-volume, low-latency environment. This role will collaborate with senior team members and participate in all stages of the software development life cycle (SDLC) to build scalable and reliable systems. Responsibilities * Develop and maintain Java-based applications and TIBCO integrations in a high-volume, low-latency environment. * Troubleshoot real-time system issues and provide timely support. * Participate in all stages of the SDLC, including design, development, testing, and deployment. * Implement unit tests and automated tests to ensure code quality. * Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and standard design patterns. * Work with web services, REST APIs, and technologies like XML, JSON, and HTML. * Use version control tools (e.g., Git) and build tools (e.g., Ant, Maven, Gradle). * Collaborate with teams to gather requirements and define business processes. * Adhere to Agile methodologies and participate in team activities (e.g., sprints). * Support software releases and contribute to continuous improvement processes. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in computer science or related * 0-2 years of hands-on experience in Java development * As a requirement of this position, all candidates must be a U.S. Citizen.
