A Snapshot of Your Day
As an NDE Inspector I, you will support critical inspection and component processing activities within the Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) Department. Working with minimal supervision, you will assist with airflow testing, moment weigh and balance operations, component preparation, material movement, and verification inspections to ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality requirements. You will perform visual and dimensional inspections, document inspection results, and verify compliance with Integrated Management System requirements while supporting a safe and efficient production environment. This is a 1st shift role from Mon. - Fri. 7:30AM - 3:30PM.
How You'll Make an Impact

• Prepare, load, unload, route, and mark components for inspection, repair, and coating processes while supporting overall NDE operations.
• Operate airflow testing and/or moment weigh equipment and perform verification activities to ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality requirements.
• Transport components, tools, and fixtures throughout the department and facility to support workflow and production schedules.
• Assist with preventive maintenance activities, maintain equipment records and logs, and support minor adjustments and repairs to department equipment.
• Accurately enter and maintain operational and inspection-related data in Microsoft Excel and Word while supporting documentation requirements.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections, document results, and ensure compliance with customer and Integrated Management System requirements.

What You Bring

• Must have a High School Diploma/GED
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for data entry, recordkeeping, and specification verification.
• Completion of a 16-hour Liquid Penetrant Level II training course or a minimum of six months of relevant experience in recycling material practices related to Project Vulture.
• Ability to perform basic Level I NDE functions, including part preparation for Non-Destructive Examination and Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI).
• Ability to measure components and verify dimensional tolerances using fixtures and precision measuring tools.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements in a manufacturing environment.
