This position is responsible for utilizing ultrasound equipment to assist in the diagnosis of various medical conditions for patients in both the outpatient and inpatient settings.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Education: Associate or bachelor's degree in sonography from accredited school preferred. On the job training in hospitals, vocational-technical institutions, and the Armed Forces accepted.
Experience: No minimum experience required.
Other Requirements:
ARDMS registered preferred, registry eligible conditional and maintains ongoing CEU's as applicable. Basic Life Support required. May have to lift/turn disabled patients. Work primarily at diagnostic imaging machines involving ability to see and touch machines clearly and function buttons on machine, standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and reaching.
