Job description

We are a busy and growing two doctor veterinary clinic. We offer a wide range of veterinary services from routine care to surgery. We also offer grooming and boarding services. We have in house Idexx diagnostic equipment, digital radiographs including dental, CO2 surgical laser, therapeutic cold laser and ultrasound. We are a paperless practice.

Currently we are in need of a technician assistant/grooming assistant/kennel technician. Job responsibilities would include but are not limited to boarding patient care, holding patients while being groomed, holding patients for exams and or treatments, cleaning boarding and grooming, stocking supplies, surgical instrument cleaning and sterilization, and answering phone calls. We use cornerstone practice management software and while experience is preferred, it is not required.

Our group is a fun, intelligent, and hard working. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, self motivated, be able to multi-task, and off the same care to our patients that they would their own. While we do not require prior veterinary assistant experience, it is preferred.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $14-$18/hr depending on past experience. Full time employees are eligible for health care 90 days after employment begins, all employees are eligible for pet care discounts.

Animal Talk has been family owned and operated for two generations. Our goal is to have a family atmosphere for our employees and clients. We provide grooming, boarding, wellness, and hospital services. Our hospital has Idexx in-house blood equipment, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, CO2 laser, cold laser, Cornerstone practice software allowing for virtual paperless records, and much more. We have recently updated much of our equipment and just finished a major renovation.
