Job Overview

GL Staffing is seeking a reliable and attentive Gate Guard/Yard Support team member to assist with daily operations at our facility. This position involves monitoring gate access, supporting office staff, and maintaining the cleanliness and order of the parking and loading areas. The ideal candidate is dependable, flexible with scheduling, and comfortable being on their feet throughout the day

Responsibilities

  • Conduct foot patrols of the property multiple times a day to ensure safety and report any issues
  • Open and close gates for employees, visitors, and delivery drivers.
  • Greet and direct visitors and notify office staff when guests arrive.
  • Allow trucks into the yard and guide them as needed so they can back up and load golf carts.
  • Maintain cleanliness around the parking lot and surrounding areas.
  • Receive UPS and other package deliveries and deliver them to the office staff.
  • Assist with general yard organization and support daily operational needs.
  • Work a flexible schedule; some weeks may exceed 40 hours.
