JOB SUMMARY
Elite Tournaments is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Digital Media Intern to support the marketing team through graphic design, video editing, and digital content creation. This internship is ideal for a student or recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience creating content for sports organizations while building a professional portfolio. The intern will assist with producing engaging visual assets for social media, email marketing, websites, and event promotions while helping maintain a consistent brand across multiple clients and tournaments.
GRAPHIC DESIGN
  • Design branded graphics for social media, email marketing, websites, and digital advertising
  • Create promotional materials for upcoming events, registration campaigns, and special announcements
  • Create templates and creative assets for tournaments and events, including social media graphics, email headers, signage concepts, digital advertisements, and other branded marketing materials
  • Develop templates and creative assets that align with Elite Tournaments' brand standards
  • Assist with sponsor and partner graphics as needed
  • Prepare artwork for a variety of digital marketing initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned

VIDEO EDITING & CONTENT CREATION
  • Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other digital platforms
  • Create event recap videos using existing photo and video assets captured by Elite Tournaments staff and photographers
  • Develop engaging motion graphics and animated content to support marketing campaigns
  • Organize and manage photo and video assets for future use
  • Stay current on social media trends and incorporate relevant editing styles and techniques when appropriate
  • Other duties as assigned

DIGITAL MARKETING SUPPORT
  • Assist in creating content for social media campaigns across multiple tournament brands
  • Support the development of marketing materials for email campaigns, websites, and event promotions
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm creative content ideas and campaign concepts
  • Help maintain visual consistency across all digital platforms and partner organizations
  • Assist with additional marketing and creative projects as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and/or Illustrator), Canva or similar tools
  • Superior oral and written communication skills
  • Effective organizational skills for management of multiple tasks
  • Creativity in brainstorming and executing content creation
  • Obtaining a bachelor's degree in a degree in Digital Media, Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or related field

PREFERRED SKILLS
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
  • Extensive knowledge of the youth sports landscape and particularly the youth soccer and lacrosse tournament club, sector, and demographic in the United States.
