Marketing Associate

Summary of Position

In a B2B SaaS environment, we are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and execution-focused Marketing Associate (on a Contract basis) to support and execute our organic content engine. In this role, you will assist with social media creation and distribution, blog creation, and YouTube production, helping translate complex technical product concepts into engaging, clear, and high-performing content that drives top-of-funnel reach and brand awareness.

You will work hands-on across editorial pipelines, video creation, and multi-channel asset distribution to engage B2B buyers across the customer journey.

Key Responsibilities

Editorial & Content Execution

  • Content Drafting: Draft and assist in editing blog posts, product tutorials, and thought leadership articles tailored to B2B SaaS audiences.
  • Calendar Maintenance: Own and maintain the integrated content calendar across blog, YouTube, and key social channels (LinkedIn) to ensure on-time publication.
  • Newsletter: Draft and assist in creation of specific newsletters in LinkedIn.

YouTube & Video Production 

  • Video Production: Manage with scripting, recording logistics, thumbnail creation, and basic video editing (Canva and Synthesia)  for YouTube videos and short clips.
  • Optimization: Write SEO-friendly video titles, descriptions, and tags to maximize viewer engagement and channel growth.

Social Media & Asset Distribution

  • Content Repurposing: Adapt long-form blog posts and videos into native social assets (LinkedIn carousels, text posts, and short video clips) following a "create once, distribute everywhere" model.
  • Social Publishing: Schedule, publish, and monitor social posts across channels, engaging with community comments and industry conversations.
  • Platform Performance Tracking: Track and report on core social and video engagement metrics -such as YouTube watch time, video retention, impressions, clicks, and LinkedIn engagement rates -using built-in platform analytics (YouTube Studio, LinkedIn Analytics, X Analytics).

Qualifications & Skills
  • Cyber Security Focus: Non Negotiable - 1-2 years prior experience in a cybersecurity
  • Asana:  Non Negotiable - 1-2 years prior experience
  • Writing & Editing: 1-3 years of B2B writing or marketing experience with a knack for making technical topics approachable, clear, and concise.
  • Video Fundamentals: Familiarity with scripting short-form/long-form video content and basic hands-on editing skills using Canva and Synthesia
  • Multi-Format Agility: Eagerness to repurpose long-form core assets into engaging, native social media formats across LinkedIn and Twitter/X. YT 
  • Distribution Mindset: Demonstrated ability to repurpose a single high-value asset into multiple social-native formats ("create once, distribute everywhere").
  • Audience Empathy: Ability to understand B2B buyer pain points and translate technical product features into relatable, benefit-driven content. 
  • Standard Qualification: Exceptional written and spoken English fluency, with a proven ability to write naturally and idiomatically for global/ english speaking  B2B tech audiences. 
  • MAP: Ideally working knowledge of Pardot 1-3 years or 3-5 years working with other content Marketing automation tools
  • Generative AI Proficiency: Hands-on experience using Generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, etc.) to assist with brainstorming, content drafting, SEO metadata generation, and content repurposing for technical B2B SaaS audiences.
