THE JOB
The Live Nation Content Studio is looking for a full-time Video Editor to lead the editorial vision for custom branded content programs, corporate initiatives, and original series for Setlist.fm. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment that requires juggling multiple projects. While this role primarily involves video editing, the ideal candidate will be comfortable with creative producing, post-production supervision, and quality control.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
  • Act as lead editor for:
    • Client-facing pitch materials
    • Promotional/marketing content for sponsorship clients and artists
    • Interview-based editorial pieces for Setlist.fm
    • Live Nation corporate videos for b2b, internal, and public use
  • Provide occasional on-set creative producer support for:
    • Video shoots at music festivals, concert events or other remote locations (travel required)
    • LA-based shoots with a focus on in-studio interviews for Setlist.fm
  • Supervise edits for Setlist.fm shows, including:
    • Checking in with project leads, CDs and editors to ensure timelines are followed
    • Providing creative feedback alongside the project leads
    • Reviewing cuts for quality control

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Uphold and inform best practices for editing and the post-production process from a creative and technical perspective.
  • Collaborate with project leads, producers, editors, motion designers, audio specialists, colorists, internal stakeholders, clients, and artists on various projects.
  • Adhere to and enhance the creative direction and goals set by project leads and clients.
  • Anticipate challenges and develop smart, efficient solutions in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years experience editing and producing digital or video content, ideally in music, entertainment or branded storytelling
  • Proven track record of delivering standout creative in collaboration with brands, agencies, talent, or media platforms
  • Deep understanding of video production workflows including scripting, shooting, post, VFX, and delivery
  • Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to manage clients, creatives, and cross-functional teams
  • Experience managing multiple large-scale projects with competing deadlines
  • Proficiency with creative and production tools (Google Workspace, Keynote)
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud software including Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Audition.
  • Solid understanding of video and audio formats, codecs, and file management
  • Basic knowledge of conforming media for mixing audio and coloring footage, specifically with ProTools and Da Vinci Resolve
  • A passion for storytelling, visual creativity, and cultural relevance
