Location: Altamonte Springs, FL. 32714
Pay: $22- $25 an hour- Full-time
Requirements
  • Available to travel 100% of the time
  • Al least 1+ year of background and formal experience in lake/pond maintenance, landscaping, commercial mowing, turf management, pesticide application
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a routine basis.
  • Ability to walk on steep slopes for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to bend and stoop on a continual basis.
  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to work around bees, poison ivy, pollen, thorns, and other environmental risks.
  • Must practice safety with chemicals and equipment.
  • Must have good communication skills and ability to motivate others.
  • Must comply with Dragonfly's policies and procedures.
  • Possesses core values compatible with those of Dragonfly Pond Works (Quality Focus, Take Ownership, Growth Oriented)

Key Responsibilities
  • Overnight travel within and to nearby States is required 75-100% of the time.
  • Assist Foreman on all aspects of pond maintenance services.
  • Mowing/string trimming slopes and basins of ponds
  • Selective removal of invasive plants around ponds
  • Load and unload heavy equipment and planting materials from trucks.
  • Collection of company owned equipment and tools at the end of the day.
  • May be asked to help in other divisions such as inspection repair as needed.
  • Travel to different locations as needed.

Safe operation and maintenance of the following equipment:
  • Mowers - Stand on, walk behind, Ventrac.
  • Edgers, string trimmers and chain saws
  • Backpack blowers and sprayers
  • Hand tools such as shovels, picks, rakes and pruning tools.
