Automotive Diagnostic Technician | $40–$50/Hour | No Weekends

Location: Collierville, TN
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:30 PM (No Weekends)
Pay Rate: $40–$50/hour
Pay Type: Flexible pay structure
Pay Schedule: Bi-weekly

About Us

Collierville Import is a busy, family-owned automotive repair shop servicing both import and domestic vehicles. We're seeking an experienced A-Level Automotive Technician, but we'll also consider a strong B-Level Technician with excellent diagnostic skills and the desire to grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose complex drivability, electrical, and check engine light concerns on import vehicles.
  • Perform advanced automotive diagnostics and high-quality repairs.
  • Utilize Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI) to document vehicle condition and repair recommendations.
  • Perform vehicle inspections and clearly communicate findings with the service team.
  • Collaborate with Service Advisors to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
  • Maintain an organized, efficient, and professional work area.
  • Use Tekmetric shop management software as part of the repair process.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 or more years of professional automotive repair experience.
  • Strong automotive diagnostics and electrical diagnostic skills.
  • Experience diagnosing drivability concerns.
  • Own professional automotive tools.
  • Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • ASE Certifications preferred.
  • Import vehicle repair experience preferred.
  • Experience with Digital Vehicle Inspections is preferred (training available if needed).
  • Highly skilled B-Level Technicians with strong diagnostic experience are encouraged to apply.
