Description/Responsibilities

 Oversee all aspects of the Western Baseball Program, including but not limited to:

o Varsity and Junior Varsity Baseball Team

o Feeder Programs-Middle School and Youth Leagues

 Staff Formation:

o Help select and vet coaches for all levels of Western Baseball

o Instruct coaches at lower levels on proper fundamentals and scheme

 Fundraising:

o Fundraise for needs above what the athletic department is able to provide

 Communication:

o Communicate expectations to players and parents

o Communicate schedules and events with players and parents

o Highlight the Western Baseball Program and its athletes

 Lead Players and Coaches:

o Model appropriate behavior

o Serve as a role model for your athletes and the student body

o Dugout decorum will reflect a first-class program

o Support multi-sport athletes and work with all athletic coaches

o Develop a program that the Western School Community will be proud of, on and off the field

o Work with other coaches to develop a top tier strength and conditioning program

o Plan and implement out of season workouts while working with other coaches and athletic teams
