Title: Testing Center Supervisor

Hours: Tue/Thu/Fri: 7:30-3:00 (7 hours); Wed: 7:30-4:00 (8 hours)
Compensation: $16.15 - $19.51/ hour (Instructional Assistant - Level 1)

PRIMARY JOB GOAL: The Testing Center Supervisor will oversee a space for students to complete secure assessments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Provide a safe and secure space for students.
- Maintain an organized and inviting space for students to complete assessments.
- Follow policies and procedures of Holland High School and Holland Public Schools.
- Fulfill attendance requirements (on-time attendance, work full shift, consistent daily attendance).
- Communicate with Special Education Teachers and Teacher Consultants to have the most up-to-date IEP information.
- Keep accurate data regarding the use of the Testing Center.
- Communicate regularly with HHS staff regarding Testing Center policies.
- Maintain assessment security.
- Create audio recordings of assessments.
- Assist with state accommodated testing (e.g. SAT, M-STEP).
- Oversee all duties related to being a College Level Examination Program (CLEP) Testing Center.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Completion of two years of study at an accredited institution of higher education (equivalent of 60 credit hours), OR
- Completion of an Associate Degree (or higher) from an accredited institution, OR
- Meet a rigorous standard of quality and demonstrate, through passage of an approved formal state academic assessment in the following areas:
- Knowledge of, and the ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics; or
- Knowledge of, and the ability to assist in instructing reading readiness, writing readiness, and mathematics readiness, as appropriate.
- Current State Board of Education Approved Assessments:
- College Board's SAT Must score at least a 480 on evidence-based reading and writing and a 530 on math
- ETS Parapro Assessment A passing score of 460 is required Prior Approved Assessments
- Michigan Test for Teacher Certification (MTTC) Basic Skills Test.
- MTTC Professional Readiness Examination.
