Job Summary/Description:

WWBT Richmond, VA is looking for an engaging, organized professional to manage our front desk and provide support to our Business department. As the first point of contact for viewers, clients, and vendors who call or visit the television station, you will represent the friendly face of "12 On Your Side."

Salary/Wage:

$21.63/hr.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

Reception & Front Desk:
- Greet and welcome clients, visitors, and vendors warmly into a secure building.
- Coordinate guests who appear live on our news shows
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls with strong phone etiquette.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Keep the reception and lobby areas neat and organized.

Light Accounting & Business Office Duties:
- Assist the Business Office with Accounts Payable and Receivable.
- Review and process invoices
- Credit reference checks.

Administrative Support:
- Monitor and order office and breakroom supplies.
- Help coordinate station staff events and client functions such as business lunch meetings.
- Assist Managers with administrative help as needed.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook.
- Friendly disposition and enjoy helping people.
- Must be dependable and able to manage multiple tasks at once and possess sharp time management and organization skills.
- High school degree required/ college degree is a plus.
- 2 years of relevant experience in an office environment
- Excellent people skills.
- Punctual with strong attendance history.
