Job Description:

The Executive Assistant to the President provides comprehensiveexecutive-level administrative support to the President and servesas the primary coordinator of the President's Office. The SeniorExecutive Assistant manages the President's schedule,communications, travel, budget administration, and officeoperations while exercising confidentiality, independent judgment,discretion, and professionalism in support of the President'spriorities and activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Executive Administration
  • Manage the President's calendar, appointments, meetings,speaking and community engagements.
  • Coordinate requests for the President's time and establishmeeting priorities.
  • Arrange travel and prepare itineraries for the President.
  • Prepare and process expense reports and relateddocumentation.
Board of Trustees, Executive Leadership Team andCabinet
  • Assist members of the Board of Trustees by answering questions,directing them to the appropriate administrator, and schedulingExecutive Committee meetings.
  • Attend all board meetings and prepare and distribute boardagendas, materials, and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with three board of trustees meetings and management ofOnBoard (board of trustees software platform).
  • Responsible for taking board minutes and drafting otherboard-related materials including agendas, resolutions, and lettersof appreciation.
  • Supporting both the Executive Leadership Team and Cabinet indeveloping agendas, collecting documentation, taking minutes,posting agendas, and acting as event coordinator for meetings andretreats.
Communications and Correspondence
  • Draft, edit, and coordinate presidential correspondence,reports, presentations, and communications.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing communications on behalf of thePresident.
  • Review materials prepared for the President's signature toensure quality, completeness, and accuracy.
  • Serve as a liaison between the President's Office and internaland external constituents.
Research and Special Projects
  • Conduct research and prepare briefing materials, reports, andbackground information as requested by the President.
  • Support presidential initiatives and special projects.
  • Develop and implement systems that increase efficiency withinthe President's Office.
Office Administration and Budget
  • Oversee daily administrative operations of the President'sOffice.
  • Maintain office files, records, and correspondence.
  • Manage receipts, p-card reconciliations and approvals,memberships, subscriptions, invoices, and reimbursements.
  • Welcome and assist visitors to the President's Office.
Other Duties
  • Contributes to the overall success of the College byundertaking special projects and other essential duties andresponsibilities as assigned by the President.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma required; an associate or bachelor's degreepreferred
  • Three to seven years of dedicated experience supporting C-suiteor senior executives
  • Advanced computer literacy: Microsoft Office Suite, cloudsystems, and virtual meeting tools
  • Discretion: Proven capacity to maintain absoluteconfidentiality
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communicationskills
