The College of Business at Louisiana Tech University invites applications for an Advanced Visiting Assistant Professor (minimum 3 years full-time faculty experience). This is a full-time, temporary, non-tenure-track position for a 9-month academic appointment, typically for one year. The position supports instructional and research needs within the College.

Responsibilities

Teaching:
Ability to teach undergraduate and/or graduate business courses (e.g., International/Global Marketing, Services Marketing, Principles of Marketing, Customer Relationship Management, Consumer Behavior, and Quantitative Methods)
Develop course materials, syllabi, and assessments
Deliver engaging, applied instruction using case studies and experiential learning
Evaluate student performance and maintain academic standards
Hold regular office hours and provide academic support
Student Engagement:
Advise and mentor undergraduate and/or graduate students
Support student success and career development
Assist with recruitment and retention efforts
Scholarly Activity:
Engage in scholarly or professional activities appropriate to the discipline
Maintain current knowledge in field of expertise
Service:
Participate in limited service such as departmental meetings and program support

Qualifications

Required:
Ph.D. or terminal degree in a business-related discipline
Demonstrated teaching effectiveness
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Experience teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels


Preferred:
Experience in AACSB-accredited programs
