Role Overview:
As a Systems Administrator, you'll tackle escalated technical issues, provide onsite support, and assist with project tasks. This role offers opportunities to expand your technical skills and contribute to the smooth operation of our clients' IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Advanced Technical Support:
◦ Resolve escalated help desk tickets related to hardware, software, networking, and server infrastructure.
◦ Conduct thorough troubleshooting and root cause analysis, utilizing tools such as event logs, performance monitors, and network analyzers.
◦ Example tickets: "Azure Active Directory synchronization failures," "VoIP call quality issues," "Exchange Online mail flow problems," "Complex printer driver conflicts," or "Outlook profile corruption."
◦ Document all troubleshooting steps and resolutions within the ticketing system.
◦ Prioritize and manage tickets effectively, ensuring timely resolution and client satisfaction.
Onsite Support and Maintenance:
◦ Perform on-site troubleshooting, hardware installations, and system maintenance at client locations.
◦ Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, server problems, and other on-site technical challenges.
◦ Provide on-site training and support to end-users as required.
◦ Conduct regular maintenance on client IT infrastructure.
Project Assistance:
◦ Assist senior engineers with project tasks, such as server deployments, network upgrades, and system migrations.
◦ Provide support during project implementation, including basic configurations within the Microsoft 365 admin portal or Azure portal.
◦ Assist in documenting project tasks.
◦ Work with important users on project related assistance.
Client Communication and Relationship Management:
◦ Provide professional customer service and build positive relationships with clients.
◦ Communicate technical information clearly and effectively.
◦ Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor.
Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:
◦ Maintain accurate documentation of troubleshooting steps and resolutions.
◦ Contribute to the development of internal knowledge base articles and technical guides.

 • Solid, demonstratable understanding of:
 ◦ Windows Server and Active Directory.
 ◦ Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Azure AD).
 ◦ Basic Azure cloud services knowledge.
 ◦ Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VoIP).
 ◦ Virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
 ◦ Experience with VOIP technologies.
 • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, including common end-user issues.
 • Experience with Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tools.
 • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.   
 • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
