Job description

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Operate and monitor broadcast, studio, and production equipment during live and recorded programming.
  • Assist in maintaining broadcast systems, control room equipment, audio/video systems, and transmission facilities.
  • Troubleshoot routine technical issues and escalate complex problems to senior engineering staff.
  • Perform equipment inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Support studio setup and technical preparation for broadcasts, recordings, and special events.
  • Monitor signal quality and equipment performance to help ensure uninterrupted broadcast operations.
  • Assist with installation, configuration, and testing of new broadcast and production equipment.
  • Works with supervisor to be familiar with the latest/new technology
  • Operates computers
  • Completes tasks accurately and independently prior to deadline, in according with editorial and production priorities
  • Functions as effective member of a team
  • Other related duties as assigned
