Convenience Store Supervisor (Inventory & Stocking Lead)

Position Description

The Convenience Store Supervisor plays a key role in keeping Wallyโ€™s convenience store area fully stocked, organized, and running efficiently. This position works directly with the inventory and stocking team to ensure shelves, coolers, and grab-and-go areas remain full, properly rotated, and ready for guests at all times.

This is a hands-on leadership role, working side-by-side with the team to receive product, stock shelves, maintain coolers, and support merchandising across the store. The supervisor helps guide daily priorities, keeps the floor organized, and ensures Wallyโ€™s standards for cleanliness, product quality, and presentation are consistently met.

The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in organized shelves and well-stocked coolers, and is comfortable leading a small team while staying actively involved in the work.

What Youโ€™ll Do at Wallyโ€™sLead Daily Stocking Operations

Work alongside the inventory team to keep shelves, coolers, and displays stocked throughout the day. Help coordinate daily stocking priorities to ensure high-traffic areas stay full and organized.

Manage Coolers & Product Rotation

Monitor cooler levels and ensure proper product rotation using FIFO practices. Identify low inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to the Convenience Store Manager.

Support Receiving & Inventory

Assist with receiving deliveries, unpacking product, and moving inventory to the sales floor efficiently. Help maintain accurate counts and support inventory processes when needed.

Maintain Store Presentation

Ensure shelves, coolers, and displays remain clean, organized, and properly labeled. Support merchandising changes, promotional displays, and seasonal resets.

Support the Stocking Team

Provide guidance and direction to team members while working side-by-side with them on the floor. Help assign daily tasks and keep the team focused on priorities during busy periods.

Guest Support

While the primary focus is stocking and inventory, team members in this role may assist guests with product questions or help direct them to the right area of the store when needed.

Safety & Organization

Maintain safe and organized backroom, cooler, and storage areas. Identify damaged goods, safety concerns, or equipment issues and report them to store leadership.

What Weโ€™re Looking For

โ€ข 1โ€“2 years of inventory, stocking, or retail floor experience preferred
โ€ข Experience leading or guiding small teams is a plus
โ€ข Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment
โ€ข Strong organization and attention to detail
โ€ข Ability to lift, stock, and move product throughout the shift
โ€ข Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods
โ€ข Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory systems
โ€ข Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
