Job description

Giant Center is a 10,500-seat multi-purpose arena, and hosts an impressive line-up of star-studded performances and events. Action-packed Hershey Bears hockey games, thrilling live entertainment, and one-of-a-kind events are a day in the life of our Hersheypark Entertainment Complex team members at Hersheypark, Giant Center, Hersheypark Stadium, or Hershey Theatre
This part-time position is responsible for providing front-line guest services, following proper uniform standards, maintaining the cleanliness of your work environment, gaining knowledge of specific job duties, learning multiple venues, and working in conjunction with multiple departments including the Box Office, Security, and Event Services Teams.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):
  • Approach guests in order to determine the section, row and numbers of seats for which the guests have purchased tickets*
  • Direct guests to proper seat locations*
  • Control movement of guests at events so as not to interfere with the viewing of the event by other guests*
  • Provide or seek assistance for guests needs*
  • Assist with crowd control during emergency situations*
  • Monitor guests behavior for compliance with event and facility policies*
  • Pick up litter from the seating areas after events and transport the trash to the dumpster*
  • Become familiar with the ticketing process to include the ability to recognize counterfeit tickets, use ticket scanning equipment.*
  • Assist in the operation of the elevators
  • Assist in securing multiple locations around the concourse or stadium
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Must display a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and professional image in compliance with the Hershey Entertainment & Resorts guidelines
  • Must have the ability to safeguard confidential information
  • Must be innovative and be self-motivated to complete tasks

Job Demands:
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on events, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to climb up and down stairs throughout the duration of your shift
  • Must be able to safely lift and carry a container of trash
  • Must be able to work in indoor and outdoor weather conditions
  • Must be available to work an average of 50% of events
  • Must be willing to work at GIANT Center, Hersheypark Stadium, and the Historic Hersheypark Arena
  • Physical requirements include standing, bending, sitting, and walking up to 100% of the shift
  • Must be able to work in loud environments
