Position Summary

Get ready to be part of the action! We're looking Cashiers who love providing efficient and friendly service to guests in a fast-paced stadium environment. In this role, you'll handle food and beverage transactions accurately while ensuring a positive guest experience during events. Cashiers processes payments, answers questions, and maintain a clean and organized work area. This position works under direct supervision of Concessions Team Leads and must perform well under high-volume conditions.


You’ll be right in the middle of the excitement during Fort Wayne FC home matches—mostly Saturday evenings from May 2 through October 24, plus a few Wednesday games. On top of that, you’ll have opportunities to work a variety of other stadium events throughout the season. If you enjoy fast-paced environments, great vibes, and being part of match-day energy, this is the opportunity for you!


What You'll Do

  • Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner to enhance the customer experience.
  • Accurately processes credit/debit card and mobile payments using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Maintain an organized workstation throughout the shift.
  • Provide information about menu items and stadium policies.
  • Ensure orders are entered correctly and communicate clearly with kitchen staff when needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the cashier station, including counters and surrounding areas.
  • Follow all company policies regarding refunds and exchanges.
  • Assist with restocking items such as napkins, utensils, and beverages.
  • Work efficiently during peak times to minimize guest wait times.
Requirements:

What We’re Looking For

  • Basic math skills and ability to handle money accurately.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to operate a POS system or willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in transactions.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.

Experience and Training

  • Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred but not required.
  • Must be 16 years old or older.
  • Must obtain and maintain a valid Indiana alcohol server permit prior to first shift.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Completion of required stadium training, including alcohol compliance, cash handling, and guest service modules.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic familiarity with electronic payment systems is a plus.


Physical Demands and Work Environment

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Frequent use of hands for scanning items and operating POS equipment.
  • Occasional lifting of light items (up to 20–25 pounds).

Work Environment:

  • Fast-paced, high-traffic stadium environment during events.
  • Exposure to noise, crowds, and varying temperatures depending on location.
  • May work indoors or at open-air concession stands.

We’ll provide your event staff shirt—just bring khaki pants or approved long shorts and comfortable slip-resistant shoes, and you’re ready to roll.
