Full Stack Developer

The Opportunity:

As a full stack developer, you can resolve a problem with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast, agile environment. We're looking for a developer like you with the skills needed to develop software and systems from vision to production-ready.

This role is more than just coding. As a full stack developer at Booz Allen, you'll use your passion to learn new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You'll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You'll help make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications in an Agile environment

  • 2+ years of experience with full-stack software development using modern frameworks and languages such as Go, Java, Python, or C# in a Linux environment

  • 2+ years of experience with software development using modern JavaScript or TypeScript front-end frameworks such as Angular or React

  • Experience with software development in an AWS cloud architecture to develop more efficient, secure, and cost-effective software

  • Experience building endtoend software solutions that integrate frontend, backend, APIs, and data layers

  • Experience with containerization including Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm

  • Ability to translate business and user requirements into technical solutions

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science

  • Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 or 8140 IAT Level II Certification within 60 days of hire date

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience working in DoW classified environments

  • Experience with Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL)

  • Experience with Agile tracking tools such as Jira and Confluence

  • Experience with DevSecOps principles and CI/CD automation

  • TS/SCI clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
