Responsible for using rules to make officiating decisions which affect the activities of people. Contact with the public presenting and defining officiating rules. Must be able to communicate effectively, establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and the public, and work independently or with another official on assigned games.Physical Demands/Working ConditionsFrequent exposure to heat, cold and wet/humid conditions; continual field work; moderate mental effort is required; moderate mental pressure exists due to exposure to interpersonal conflicts; moderate physical exertion is present when running with the game, if necessary.
