Job description

Provide engineering support for aircraft carrier Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) systems, maintenance planning, modernization, lifecycle sustainment, and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical engineering support related to HM&E systems
  • Support development and refinement of Class Maintenance Plans (CMPs)
  • Support modernization planning and execution activities
  • Analyze maintenance, risk, and material condition data
  • Assist in development of lifecycle sustainment strategies
  • Organize and analyze engineering and maintenance data
  • Develop and maintain technical metrics and reports
  • Support shipboard systems engineering analysis and maintenance planning

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering required
  • Minimum 5 years professional engineering experience required
  • 10+ years professional experience preferred

Required Systems, Tools, and Framework Experience

  • Engineering lifecycle management systems
  • Maintenance and modernization data repositories
  • Technical reporting and analytics tools
  • Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) methodologies
  • Navy maintenance planning systems
  • Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Specialized Experience

  • Data analytics
  • Aircraft carrier maintenance and modernization
  • Naval ship design, construction, or maintenance experience
