Job description

The Role
As a Video Content Producer, you create video experiences that educate, inspire, and drive action. Sitting at the intersection of Video Production x Storytelling x Adult Learning, you lead the development of Tyfoom's growing training library while supporting customer stories, executive communications, events, product and marketing initiatives, and other corporate video projects.
You transform expertise into engaging learning experiences, capture authentic stories through video, and help bring the Tyfoom brand to life. Working closely with subject matter experts and marketing leadership, you own projects from concept through completion - including story ideation, filming, editing, and publishing.
This is a hands-on creative role for someone who loves to learn new subjects, tell meaningful stories, and use emerging technologies to expand what's possible through video.
Your Core Responsibilities
Transform Expertise into Learning Experiences: Partner with subject matter experts to identify learning objectives and key takeaways. Translate complex topics into simple, engaging microlearning experiences that improve knowledge retention and influence behavior change.
Lead the Creative Process: Develop video ideas, scripts, shot lists, and production plans as needed with minimal oversight. Take ownership of projects from initial concept through final delivery.

Film and Capture Visual Stories: Film training videos in appropriate environments. Direct subject matter experts and on-camera presenters. Capture compelling B-roll that strengthens storytelling and enhances the viewer experience. Support customer case study production through interview setup, B-roll capture, and supporting footage.
Leverage Technology to Increase Creative Capacity: Actively explore and adopt emerging technologies - including artificial intelligence tools - to improve the speed, scalability, and quality of video production. Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, accelerate editing, enhance visual storytelling, and expand the team's creative capabilities while maintaining Tyfoom's standards for authenticity and excellence.
Build Scalable Production Systems: Maintain and organize video assets, production equipment, and project files. Establish templates and workflows that improve efficiency and consistency. Provide guidance and quality assurance for co-workers, interns and others assisting with editing and production tasks.
Edit for Impact: Edit videos with a focus on clarity, engagement, pacing, and retention. Produce a variety of content including microlearning videos, customer case studies, event highlights, executive communications, promotional assets and live events. Incorporate graphics, captions, animations, and branded elements that elevate the viewer experience.
Support Customer Content Creation: As needed, partner with Tyfoom customers to help them create effective training and communication content. Provide guidance on best practices, assist with production planning, and occasionally support on-site video capture and post-production efforts that help customers maximize the value of the Tyfoom platform.
Collaborate as ONE TEAM: Partner with company leadership, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to prioritize projects and deliver meaningful learning experiences that support Tyfoom's mission and business objectives.
Operate with Ownership and Discipline: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, maintain a high standard of quality, and continuously seek ways to improve both the learning experience and the production process.
