This role sits at the intersection of creative strategy, social storytelling, and production. The ideal candidate is equal parts big-idea thinker and hands-on maker - someone who can concept and pitch culturally-relevant campaigns to brands, then help bring those ideas to life through production and post.

Responsibilities
  • Develop social-first branded video concepts and campaign ideas in response to RFPs and proactive opportunities
  • Participate in brainstorms and shape creative strategy across video, social, talent, and platform ecosystems
  • Create pitch materials including write-ups, scripts, treatments, storyboards, and visual references
  • Present and pitch creative concepts to internal teams, agencies, and clients
  • Translate client goals into culturally-relevant content ideas that feel native to platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and emerging channels
  • Oversee creative execution post-sale to ensure the original vision carries through production and post
  • Collaborate closely with producers, editors, designers, and external production partners throughout execution
  • Provide creative direction on shoots, edits, graphics, pacing, talent performance, and storytelling
  • Stay tapped into platform trends, creator culture, internet behavior, and evolving social formats
  • Adapt creative approaches across BDG's distinct brands and audiences

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in branded content, creative strategy, video production, or a related role at a publisher, agency, production company, or media brand
  • Strong understanding of social-first storytelling and platform-native video formats
  • Experience developing and pitching branded campaigns directly to clients and agencies
  • Strong production background with experience overseeing shoots and post-production workflows
  • Skilled at writing scripts, treatments, decks, and creative presentations
  • Excellent visual taste and a strong understanding of pacing, editing, internet culture, and social trends
  • Comfortable balancing high-level creative thinking with hands-on execution
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience across lifestyle, fashion, beauty, culture, entertainment, parenting, tech, travel, or food content is a plus
  • Experience working with talent and influencers
  • Directing experience preferred

$65 - $70 an hour
