Job description

Ourisman, Trusted Tradition
Here's to those who think differently. The ones who think that a car dealership's first priority should be the guest. Such a candid idea could only come from Ourisman. Because we're forward thinking, just like the communities we serve. Individuals who won't be constrained by how things "have always been done", but instead strive to do things "how they could be done" and "how they should be done." It is a philosophy we have infused into every fabric of our dealerships, from the bottom up, in every department, and in every Ourisman team member. Changing the way we all think about car buying is just the beginning.
Role Summary
Ourisman Automotive Group is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our team. The Sales Associate will be responsible for assisting customers with their vehicle purchases, providing product information, and ensuring a positive buying experience.
More about the role
  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing their needs and providing information about vehicles and services.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the dealership's vehicle inventory, including features, specifications, and pricing, to effectively answer customer questions and make recommendations.
  • Guide customers through the sales process, from vehicle selection and test drives to financing and closing the sale.
  • Follow up with potential customers and leads to nurture relationships and encourage sales.
  • Meet or exceed individual sales targets and contribute to the overall sales performance of the dealership.
  • Prepare and process sales contracts, financing applications, and other required documentation accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist in maintaining the appearance and organization of the showroom and lot, ensuring vehicles are clean and properly displayed.
  • Address and resolve customer concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner to ensure high levels of satisfaction.

What we look for
  • Previous sales experience is preferred, but not required. Experience in the automotive industry is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and understand their needs.
  • A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive buying experience.
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and techniques, with a willingness to learn and apply new skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with dealership management software is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Benefits
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Life insurance options
  • Short-term and Long-term disability insurance
  • 401(k) plan with company match
  • Paid time off and holiday leave
  • Opportunities for professional development and growth

Ourisman Automotive Group is an equal opportunity employer. We believe in hiring a diverse workforce and sustaining an inclusive, people-first culture.
