As an Assistant Customer Service Manager, you will support front-end operations, help achieve store performance goals, and ensure fast, friendly, and accurate service for every customer. Main responsibilities:

  • Assist in overseeing and coordinate all front‑end operations, ensuring fast, friendly, and accurate checkout service
  • Support customer service programs and respond to customer concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Provide checkout support as needed, including register functions and customer assistance
  • Support front-end activities including scheduling, service levels, and daily operations.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and a positive front‑end environment
  • Assist with cash handling processes including tills, safe counts, reconciliation, refunds, and transactions.
  • Assist with monitoring inventory and ordering front-end supplies and materials.
  • Assist with hiring, training, coaching, and developing front-end associates and supervisors.
  • Support labor planning, budgeting, and expense control for the department
  • Support compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
  • Complete daily reports, payroll processes, and required documentation
  • Assume responsibility for front-end operations in the absence of the Customer Service Manager.

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

  • Strong organization, prioritization, and planning abilities

  • Ability to stay composed in fast‑paced, customer‑facing environments

Skill areas:

  • Front‑end operations and customer service execution

  • Cash handling, reconciliation, and compliance practices

  • Labor planning, scheduling, and service coverage

  • Safety awareness and loss‑prevention support

Knowledge:

  • Front‑end systems, registers, and store operations

  • Cash handling procedures, security protocols, and transaction policies

  • Scheduling tools and basic computer applications

Abilities:

  • Ability to review service metrics, cash variance, and performance trends

  • Ability to train, coach, and support associate development

  • Ability to stand, move, lift, carry, or push objects as required

  • Ability to operate and troubleshoot front‑end equipment

  • Travel requirements: None

  • Other requirements: Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays; reliable attendance; compliance with company policies, safety standards, and the Code of Business Conduct
