Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift) | Manufacturing

Join now and be part of the transition into my client's brand-new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility opening in Webster, NY this September! Interviews and training will begin at their current facility (located just 10 minutes from Webster) before moving into the new plant.


My client is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their highly automated manufacturing operation. Whether you're an experienced maintenance technician or have 3–4 years of manufacturing maintenance experience, this is an excellent opportunity to expand your skills while working alongside advanced robotics and automated equipment.


No robotics or automation experience? No problem! My client is willing to train motivated maintenance professionals who have a solid manufacturing maintenance background, strong mechanical aptitude, and a desire to learn.


What You'll Do

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Diagnose equipment issues to minimize downtime and maximize production
  • Assist with maintaining automated production equipment, robotics, and conveyors (training provided)
  • Troubleshoot motors, sensors, bearings, drives, and other machine components
  • Read blueprints, schematics, equipment manuals, and technical documentation
  • Perform equipment inspections and document maintenance activities
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and equipment reliability


Qualifications

Required

  • 3+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Basic electrical troubleshooting experience
  • Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, conveyors, bearings, or similar industrial equipment
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, or equipment manuals
  • Experience using hand and power tools
  • Willingness to learn robotics and automated manufacturing systems


Preferred (Not Required)

  • Experience with robotics or automation
  • PLC troubleshooting experience
  • Industrial electrical experience
  • Experience maintaining automated manufacturing equipment


Schedule

  • Monday–Thursday | 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM | Direct Hire
  • Enjoy a 4-day work week with a 3-day weekend every week!


Compensation & Benefits

  • Up to $34/hour, depending on experience + profit sharing bonus!
  • PLUS $1.50/hour shift differential
