Job description

Controls Engineer - Automation & Commissioning

We are seeking a Controls Engineer to support the installation, commissioning, and validation of automated and robotic systems in industrial environments. This position will focus on ensuring systems are operating safely, reliably, and according to project specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in equipment startup, commissioning, and validation activities
  • Troubleshoot automation, controls, and robotics systems during deployment
  • Conduct testing and verification of system functionality
  • Track and resolve commissioning issues through completion
  • Support integration teams, contractors, and site personnel during project execution
  • Maintain commissioning reports, test documentation, and project records
  • Assist with system turnover and post-startup support

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field
  • Experience with industrial automation, robotics, or material handling systems
  • Familiarity with commissioning and startup processes
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
  • Ability to work on-site and travel to project locations as needed
